Kim Y. Taylor

 

Kim Y. Taylor has over twenty years of experience in public finance and fiscal management.  A graduate of the Trenton public school system, Kim obtained an A.A.S. degree in General Business from Mercer County Community College and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in global leadership and a minor in women’s and gender studies from New Jersey City University.  Currently she is pursuing a master’s degree in criminal justice at Boston University. Her additional professional experience in banking, insurance, investments, information technology, and the legal field enhance her ability to be the solution that the 15th district needs now. 

 

Kim Taylor is in her third term as Committeewoman for District 16 (R-Lawrence Township) and serves as vice-chair of the Lawrence Township Republican Municipal Committee.

 

Kim is a member of the Republican Women of Mercer County and the Lawrence League of Women Voters.  She is active in the community at the state, county, regional, and municipal levels working in partnership across party lines on a regular basis on a broad range of shared political, social, and civic concerns.  Kim Taylor is in her second term as Chair of Lawrence Township’s Committee on Affordable Housing and also serves as a member of the Township’s Alliance on Drug and Alcohol. Ms. Taylor is an elected member of the board of directors of Liberty Green Homeowners Association in Lawrence Township. She and her family make their home in Lawrence Township, NJ and are active members of the Church of Saint Ann, Lawrenceville, NJ and the Diocese of Trenton.














Werner Graf

Werner Graf resides in Hopewell Valley with his wife Lisa, and daughters Angelina (5) and Alexandra (8 months). He is a 1986 graduate of the University of Notre Dame (accounting) and has a teaching degree from St. Mary's College.  His post graduate work includes Tulane's MBA program and IBM's Harvard executive program.    Werner is the President of the Notre Dame Club of Central New Jersey and serves in the University's Senate.   He has also served on several Boards including Hopewell Valley’s Board of Education, Chicago’s Big Brothers/Big Sisters (where he served as Treasurer), the Ivorydale Credit Union and River Plaza Homeowners Association.   He is a current member of the Mercer County GOP Executive Committee.

Scholarship Opportunity


The Ewing Township Republican Club is requesting applications for the Ewing Township Republican Scholarship. The annual scholarship of $400 is awarded annually to a Ewing High School Senior to support him/her in attaining his/her undergraduate degree.
 
The criteria are as follows:
1) The student must be a graduating senior from Ewing High School
2) At least one member of the household must be a registered Republican as of the application date
3) It is preferred, but not required, that at least one member of the household be a member of the Ewing Township Republican Club
 
A one page essay explaining why the student believes he/she should be the recipient of the scholarship and where he/she will be attending in the Fall semester is required.
 
All letters must be postmarked or emailed by May 15; decisions will be made by May 18. Application may be mailed to the Ewing Township Republican Club,  P.O. Box 7233, Ewing, NJ 08628 or emailed to ewinggop@gmail.com.
